International Week
Our students had a fantastic time visiting other countries for the class International Week presentations. Great job to all our faculty and students for tremendous work studying other countries and cultures. And an extra thank you to the coordinating committee: Ms. Marion, Ms. Noémie, and Ms. Sarah. We were sad to cancel the potluck, but we had a great time sharing experiences with our students. We will share more with you soon.
Thanksgiving Greetings from the Head of School
Thank you so much to all of the members of our AIS Family for your understanding and flexibility during such an unusual week! With Thanksgiving Day just under a week away, we should take the time to recognize all of the things that make us thankful – from our education to our friends, and our community to our good health. I am particularly thankful to be part of such a warm, vibrant, diverse, and passionate community. Seeing students teach each other about the histories, cultures, and sceneries of different nations has been inspiring to say the least. As families, we should always be thankful for the natural curiosity of our children, in particular their desire to explore and take risks. I encourage you to take time during the upcoming break to have your children teach you about all that they learned during their visits to “classrooms around the world,” as it were. I hope that all members of the AIS Family have a safe, fun, educational, and food-filled Thanksgiving Break. I look forward to seeing you all happy and healthy on Monday, December 2nd!
