Weekly Recordings (Google Classroom)

Each week, our Lobo Band students will be required to record themselves passing-off music, which should be submitted on the appropriate Google Classroom page. Students are assigned the recordings on Monday and have a full seven days to get them submitted. All recordings should be done with the use of a metronome. These recordings will count as a summative grade.

UIL Solo & Ensemble

Saturday, Feb. 22nd, 8am

LEHS Band students signed-up to participate in over 80 events at this year's UIL Solo & Ensemble Contest. Beginning on January 8th, students will have two and a half weeks to pay for their entry fees. As always, the Band Department will assist with entry costs by lowering the amounts due. Please see the amounts owed below:


Solo / Unaccompanied (this is RARE) - $10 each


Solo / Accompanied (most solos) - $40 each (This also covers 1/2 of the accompaniment costs. Professional pianists will be hired through the band department. These piano accompanists will rehearse at least two times with each student before the performance day.)


Ensembles - $10 per ensemble member


* Band members may only participate in one solo and one ensemble.


** UIL Solo & Ensemble entry fees are PAST DUE. Parents may either send cash payments (please use envelopes on the black mailbox in the band room) or make checks payable to LEBB. Band directors do NOT collect these payments.


*** Please make sure that your child has ordered the original to their chosen solo. Solos may be ordered through JW Pepper Music or Pender's Music. Originals are required on the day of the event.

*All payments must be received by the dates above. If payment deadlines are not met, a student may be removed from the trip.


*Refund deadlines:

100% refundable until 3/6/2020

50% refundable from 3/7/20 - 4/3/20

Non-refundable after 4/3/2020


*All payments will be made to LEBB (Little Elm Band Boosters). These should be placed in an envelope, filled out by the student, and placed in the black box in the Band Hall.
