Horses can lock their joints so they can sleep standing up . Horses can run shortly after birth . Domestic horses have a lifespan of about 25 years. Horses have about 205 bones in their skeleton . Horses are herbivores . Horses have bigger eyes than all the mammals that live on land . Estimates suggest that there are over 60 million horses around the world .Ponies are small horses .

Adult female sheep are called ewes . Adult male sheep are known as rams . Pigs are intelligent animals .Like humans pigs are omnivore meaning they eat both plants and meat . A pig’s snout is important for finding food and sensing the world around them . Pigs have an excellent sense of smell.There are around 2 billion pigs in the world . Humans farm pigs for meat such as pork, bacon,and ham . Sometimes people will keep pigs for pets . Wild pigs are often hunted in the wild . In some areas in the world wild boars are the main food source for the tiger .

Squirrels are small grey mammals , they live in the woodlands, parks and they build a nest called a “ drey “ in a tree . It is eaten by the birds of prey and foxes . Tawny Owls are a reddish-brownish bird with large eyes for hunting and sharp claws for catching prey . They live in woodlands and farmlands and eat small mammals such as mice and squirrels . Its predator is Humans .
