What To Expect
This week marks the beginning of the embryonic period. Baby organs will develop and some will function. Placenta will able to provide nutrient and oxygen to your frowing baby. In 5 weeks the baby fingers and toes are webbed. in 12 weeks your baby's fingers will soon begin to open and close. His/ she toes wiil curl the're eyes muslces will clench, and the're mouth will mak sucking movements. in 13 weeks Veins and organs are clearly visible through the're thin skin.
In your 14 weeks of being pregnant tour baby can now squint, frown, grimace, pee, and possibly suck the're thumb! The're kidney's are producing urine; which they release into to amniotic fluid around them. Movement, you'll start noticing more and more in the weeks ahead. Because of the flexing the're arms and legs. Blood vessels in the're lungs are developing to prepare for beathing. The baby should weigh up to 2 pounds. They may sleep and wake at regular interval.
A pint and half of amniotic fluid surrounds the baby. The're eyes sight continues to develop. Your baby now weighs about 4 3/4 pounds. The're central nervous system is maturing and her lungs are continuing to mature as well. Your baby has really plumped up. She has a firm grasp; the're organs are mature and are aready for the outside world.
