*RAZ-KIDS!
Please make sure your child is reading each night, listening to the stories, and taking the quizzes. Reading for 20 minutes each night is one of the best ways for your child to become a better reader. Third Grade is tracking the number of books read in order for the class to earn incentives, such as a popcorn party! Thank you for your help with this!
This week in Social Studies!
Students have now learned about the concepts of goods, services, scarcity, producers, and consumers. Also, students have learned about the production, manufacturing and distribution of a good. Now, students will create a product of their own to "sell" to their classmates (a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 22 products). Also, students will write a How-To to explain how to make their product. They will market and sell their products to their class.
