A COOL THING HAPPENED IN CLASS...
Students took over Ms. Long's Family & Consumer Science class today to make homemade torillas & tacos!
Ms. Shade & Ms. Moreland's 7th grade social studies classes are playing the "Rome Game." Students faced real scenarios that Ancient Rome faced and they had to see if their decisions could keep Rome from falling!
Ms. French's class created winter paintings this week!
On Thursday, several 8th grade students participated in the county History Bowl. Congratulations to Riley Martirano, McKenzie Langevin, Destiny Robinson, Lily Salisbury for representing NMS well! We are so proud of your hard work! Thanks to Ms. Dusing for coaching the History Bowl team this year! This team will move on to the next History Bowl match at the end of February.
According to our attendance records, students have been doing an amazing job coming to school. Our daily attendance rate has been better than last year's for the past two months!
Our school IXL (ELA & Math testing) increased for all grades as recorded by our last round of testing this January. Sixth grade should REALLY be proud! As an average, this class increased their scores by 8 months in math and 1 year, 2.5 months in ELA!!! Great job sixth grade!
