Thank You!
On behalf of Buckingham Elementary School, we would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the entire school community for your participation in the annual holiday Turkey Toss and Gift Giving Tree projects. As in years past through your participation and donations, we were able to purchase Giant grocery cards and gifts to help support some of our Buckingham families experiencing financial hardships this holiday season. Special thanks to Mrs. Reigner’s and Mrs. Barno’s fifth grade classes for adopting additional families. The overwhelming generosity and kindness exhibited by all is truly inspiring and a testament to how wonderful our Buckingham School Community really is.
Thank you once again for your support and participation in these incredibly important projects. Wishing all a new year filled with good health and great joy!
Sincerely,
Nurse Randi, Mr. Rosica and Mr. Durie

First Grade
Students in Mrs. Fillette’s class enjoy their “app”etizers before the main course in math! Today’s “app” etizer is Pet Bingo!
Mrs. Fillette's First Grade Class
Today we began our first “Monday Focus Meeting” in our class. Every Monday morning, Mrs. Thompson will lead the students in a lesson focusing on a particular social skill. Today’s topic: “Friendship”. Thank you, Mrs. Thompson!!

Math Fun
Students work hard at using number sense as they build their number sense, while working on calendar time in math. Important days like the “100th Day of School” help them do this as they share ideas and strategies with each other when figuring out challenges.

Buckingham Educational Assistants work hard with students to try new strategies. They help kids look for ways to tackle new concepts and acquire new skills in their learning.
