LHS Families,
We are in the final stretch of this school year. We hope everyone had a restful Spring Break and is prepared to finish the 4th Nine Weeks strong.
Testing season continues:
- 7th Grade: ACAP April 7-9
- 8th Grade: ACAP April 9, 12-14
Please make sure that your child gets a good night of rest and is ready to give his or her best on the test!
The LHS Junior Class will host prom on April 16th with the theme of Wild Wild West. This event is only for Juniors and Seniors that attend Loachapoka High School.
We would like to continue to thank our students, faculty, and staff for wearing their masks each day, practicing social distancing, and for keeping areas sanitized. Thank you!
Summer Enrichment
June 7th - July 1st (7:30-12:00)
Loachapoka High School will be offering Summer Enrichment classes in STEM, ACT Boot Camp, Writing, and Reading this summer.

Absences
Health Heroes Vaccine Clinic
The Health Services Department will be holding a vaccine clinic on April 7th, 2021 in the afternoon. The clinic will be an opportunity to provide TDaP, HPV, Meningococcal vaccines to raising 6th graders and those not in compliance with their vaccines. Please complete the consent form. Paperwork will be sent home with the student if he/she has been identified as needing updated vaccines.

Please remember to keep your student home if they are not feeling well.
Covid-19 Symptoms:
· Fever of 100.4 or chills
· Cough, runny nose, sinus congestion, sore throat
· Shortness of breath, trouble breathing
· Fatigue
· Stomach ache, abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting or diarrhea
· New loss of taste or smell
· Muscle aches or body aches
· Headache
Contact your child’s healthcare provider if your child experiences any of the above symptoms.
If your child is sent home from school sick, you will need to have a doctor’s note BEFORE your child can return to school. It is expected that the student will be picked up from school within an hour or sooner.
