November--Celebrating Service
November is frequently championship month for KPHS, but it is also a month to celebrate service. We celebrate the service of our veterans to this amazing country as a start, but did you know that our KP Warrior Teams commit themselves to community service each season? Additionally, we have two of the largest service organizations in Massachusetts, KP Cares & KP Leos! There are several opportunities within our news to help and serve others! It may be taking the time to fill out a DECA survey, join us for the Henry Carr Color Run, contribute to the giving tree, or donate to the US Veterans; no matter how you choose to serve, we appreciate all our Warrior Families do!
Sincerely,
Dr. Mobley

KP Home Internet Access for Education
A message from Director of Technology, Michael Bois:
Over the years, our school district and the rest of the country have continued to move more online. This is an ever-increasing need to access the internet outside of school. Recognizing that not all students have access to the internet when not at school, the district is partnering with T-Mobile to provide qualifying families with zero-cost mobile hotspots that will allow the student to use their Chromebook when not in the building.
To apply, the following form must be completed, and can be submitted by email, or dropped off at either building's main office, to my attention.

KP CARES ANNOUNCES GIVING TREE PROGRAM 2022
KP Cares, a community service group made up of KPHS Students is planning its 8th annual Holiday Gift Drive. The Giving Tree helps support local families that need help during the holidays with gifts for their children
NEED HELP??
If you or someone you know in the King Philip community could use some assistance this year please fill out the attached form and submit by November 14, 2022. While we would love to help as many people as possible we must limit our support to those families that live in one of the 3 towns King Philip services: Norfolk, Plainville or Wrentham. All family names will be kept completely confidential as only our faculty advisor will know who they are. We are asking that you only request 3 items per child and that the children be between the ages of 0-18 (or if 19 are still in high school) as we hope to be able to help every family that submits a request. Please note since these gifts are being purchased by students and we anticipate an increase in requests we are not in a position to fulfill requests for TVs/video game systems/or individual items in excess of $100.00. Please submit forms through email to rowec@Kingphilip.org Or by mail to : Cheryl Rowe – KP Cares Advisor King Philip H.S. 201 Franklin St. Wrentham, MA 02093 FORMS MUST BE RETURNED BY NOVEMBER 14TH TO BE INCLUDED. Gifts will be available for pick on December 11, 2022 and you will be contacted by email with your pick up

Announcing BC Splash
BC Splash is a 1-day event held at Boston College each semester where students in grades 7-12 can take fun, engaging classes that are taught and designed by our undergraduate and graduate students!
This semester, our program is back in-person on the BC campus, and we have put together a great day and fantastic lineup of classes over zoom for the students. They can take classes such as College Essay Writing, Video Games and the Law, and Science Fiction through the Ages!
BC Splash will be held on BC's campus on Sunday, November 13th from 10am - 4pm.
Our program costs $10 to attend, but we have extremely generous financial aid for any students for whom this is an issue. We do not want students to not come because of cost.
Students can register at our website, bcsplash.learningu.org
