Cambrian School District continues to follow the guidance of the County Department of Public Health to guide our practices in supporting student and staff health and safety. As of March 13, 2023, the CDPH updated the Guidance for Local Health Jurisdictions on Isolation and Quarantine of the General Public.

Here is a quick outline of the major changes.

• The new guidelines state that an students may return to school after day 5 if they are:

• Fever free for at least 24 hours (without medication) and

• Symptoms are improving after day 5.

Students are encouraged to mask through day 10. They may test out of wearing a mask if they produce two negative tests at least 24 hours between.
