Announcements
Last week In Science, we continued the Scientific Method unit. We ended the week writing and following procedures. I tried following the students' directions on how to make a PB&J sandwich (this was the practice assignment for how to write the procedure part of a lab.) Most looked nothing like a sandwich!
We also took our first summative quiz! Most of the kids did an awesome job on it. However, if anyone wants to retake it to gain an extra point or two that ooportunity will be available in class on Tuesday. I will accept the best score from either the original or the retake. So they have nothing to lose if they want to give it another go!
This week we will continue the scientific method, focusing on the data analysis section of a lab write-up. This will involve collecting observations and raw data, then transferring it into tables, graphs, and a written explanation.
Students of the Week!
