ROYAL REVIEW (01.06.202)

To be Christ-centered in our words, thoughts and actions.

HAPPY NEW YEAR

As we usher in 2022, we look forward to having the students back in the hallways and in the classrooms. I am looking forward to a Joyful beginning to the New Year and I hope that all of us can take more time to spend time with HIM and fervently pray for the safety of all that are sick and suffering. Specifically this month, as the end of the month of January is March for Life, let us continue to pray for the end of Abortion.

Let us also never forget to pray for our priests and religious. They are our shepherds so let us continue to lift them up in our prayers.

Many blessings for this new year!

Mr. Wiegmann

DROP OFF PROCEDURES

This is just a friendly reminder that we need cars pulling all the way up to the end of the sidewalk. We are having too many people stopping right in front of the door way and dropping your child/ren off. This can cause a safety issue. If you need to get out of your car, please pull to the side parking lot (North Side of the Monsignor Faber Activity Center).

Many thanks for your cooperation.

STUDENT AMBASSADORS (4th - 8th Grade)

Student Ambassador candidates are interviewing this week, and in next week's newsletter we will announce our ambassadors. I am really looking forward to this program starting.

Many thanks,

Mr. Wiegmann

END OF SEMESTER/GRADING PERIOD

Our semester and grading period ends this Friday, January 7th. We will be sending home report cards on Thursday, January 13th.

DRESS CODE REMINDERS (PLEASE USE THE DAYS BELOW TO HELP YOUR CHILD DRESS FOR MASS)

We are having numerous dress code infractions that we are witnessing. Any student in Grade 5 through Grade 8, should be wearing a belt with their pants.

Girls in grades 4-8 who choose to wear skirts must wear knee to mid-calf length school plaid, blue or khaki skirts. It is advised that you wear heavy tights in the winter.

Also, on school Mass days boys should be wearing a button-down shirt and tie and the girls should be wearing their dress shirts.

Tuesdays: 5th - 8th Grade have Mass and should be in Mass attire

Wednesdays: K-4th Grade have Mass and should be in Mass attire.

Fridays and ALL SCHOOL MASS DAYS: K-8th will have Mass and should be in Mass attire.

We thank you for your help with these issues and hope that we can have them resolved.

MIDDLE SCHOOL GAME NIGHT

This Saturday is our First Annual Middle School Game Night. The festivities begin at 5:30 pm and end at 8:00 pm. 6th-8th Grade Students (not currently isolating or quarantined) must have turned in a permission form, $3 for pizza, and come inside with a parent to check them in and out.

In order for this event to happen, HASA is still in need of adult volunteers for the evening. If you can help with this, please go to this link to sign up: (or fill in the bottom of the flyer or permission form that your middle schooler brought home)
