3/4/5

This week, our 5th graders joined the 3/4 class with Mrs. Lisai, while the 6th graders attended Keewaydin.

Mrs. BT taught students how to weave a basket. The baskets are not complete quite yet so stay tuned to see the final product!

Wreath Making

Each year, GES participates in the Memorial Day Ceremonies and Celebration in Grafton. GES students made wreaths for this year's ceremonies. They are beautiful! Nice job, Panthers!

6th Grade at Keewaydin

We ran into a small challenge this week as Mrs. Stern was not able to join the 6th graders at Keewaydin. With little notice, Miss Lizzie stepped up to accompany the students and learn with them. Midway through the week, Mrs. BT joined the students to finish out the week.

Students had a magical time at Keewaydin this week. They enjoyed learning that involved their mind, body and heart. The hikes, study team and cooperation and community responsibilities added up to a be an enriching learning experience.

Volunteer Opportunties

As our busy year comes to a close, we want to remind families that we have opportunities available to have you into the building. Please reach out to your child's teacher or Sarah Noble if you are looking to volunteer.

Please note that all volunteers must complete proper background checks.

School Property Access

Now that Spring has arrived, I would like to remind the community that school grounds are not open to the public during school hours, during the school year - Monday through Friday from 7:45am-3:15pm. If you wish to access the property behind our school, we ask that you please use an alternative trail and not the trail on school grounds. We have asked our students not to engage with pets that they may see during school hours while outside.

Mark your calendars!
