celebrating 25 years of excellence in catholic education
Theme for the Year: Goodness
Our Motto: Teaching the Mind...Nourishing the Soul
At St. Joseph Catholic School, we are striving to become missionary disciples, recognizing the goodness of God in our lives and in the world around us, each and every day.
Our Mission and Vision Statements
Mission:
St. Joseph Catholic School provides students with a safe and prayerful learning environment, enveloped by an intimate community of active and faithful families.
Vision:
Catholic schools in the Diocese of Fort Worth are committed to opening the doors so that our students can reach further than the walls that would otherwise enclose them and therefore are able to recognize and cherish the eternal and transcendental goods of Truth, Beauty, and Goodness.
From the Principal
Here we are, already welcoming the month of February. This is an important month for many reasons. On Ash Wednesday, we begin the Lenten Season. Also, we celebrate Black History Month, St. Valentine's Day, and President's Day. Within the Church, this month is traditionally dedicated to the Holy Family. It is during this time of the Liturgical Calendar that we are transitioning from Christmas to Easter, hearing all about the public life of Jesus.
Let us prepare for the coming month by recalling the lives of those who inspire us to be better people, to never give up and to always have faith. The video below, in honor of Black History Month, highlights the lives of some inspiring Catholics, on their way to sainthood.
In Christ's service,
Diane Price, M.Ed.L.

New saintly quote to ponder
A tree is known by its fruit; a man by his deeds. A good deed is never lost; he who sows courtesy reaps friendship, and he who plants kindness gathers love. - St. Basil
