Summer Enrichment Program
at Winston Preparatory School
The Summer Enrichment program at Winston Preparatory School's New Jersey Campus is an extension of the WPS philosophy, principles, and model that take place during the month of July. This unique educational program is aimed to help students gain a better understanding of their strengths and weaknesses, build self-confidence and independence, and improve self-advocacy skills. We aim to empower students with strategies they need to maximize individual learning styles, build academic skills, and foster independence.
Dates and Times: July 2 through July 27; 8:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Five academic periods each day, with one 20 minute snack break.
Classes Included: Focus, Written Language Skills, Reading Comprehension or Decoding/Encoding, Mathematics, and Organization and Study Skills.
Optional After-School Summer Program
Students may select up to two (2) after-school activities. Students participating in the after school program have a 30 minute lunch from 12:30 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.
When: Monday through Thursday, from 1:00 p.m. to 1:45 p.m.
Options may include: Social Games, Sports and Fitness, Art, Cooking, Strategic Thinking
