Message from the Principal
Destination Appreciation was a Success
Thank you to all of the students, families, and volunteers who showered our faculty and staff with love during Teacher Appreciation Week 2019!
On Monday, our teachers and staff arrived to find every classroom and office door decorated with "wishful destination posters". My wishful destination was Switzerland and Greece.
Special treats and lunch from Olive Garden were provided. Backfit Massage also provided their services.
Tuesday, Waffle Love AZ served the staff with a waffle breakfast. Oh Boy! we fell in Love! Sweet treat arrived in the afternoon from Lisa's Rum Cake.
Wednesday, teachers took flight and practiced Origami and received treats from our in-house snack cart.
Thursday, Pizza day from the Principal and homemade Baklava provided by one of our Goodman parents. Another parent brought her expertise in the ancient art of henna designs. She did a fantastic job applying henna art for teachers and staff. Yet, another parent traveled to Africa over Fall break and brought back bracelets from Ghana for teachers and staff.
Teacher Appreciation Week concluded on Friday with a fantastic grand finale which included a beautiful luncheon from Abuelo's.
...And a very special thank you to our own Mrs. Jaime Burton and Megan Lebsack who work tirelessly to make each day extraordinary for the CTA Goodman Teachers and Staff. This week was amazing!
