The Wardog Way

February, 2020 Newsletter

At Miami Public Schools, we strive to communicate with our stakeholders effectively. This has been evidenced by our growing social media platforms, weekly or regular communications, the frequent use of the all-call system, etc. However, we recognize the need for improvement and consistency across all school sites and district departments. Therefore, we have partnered with S'More to bring you regular updates and to kept you abreast of what is taking place throughout the school district and to celebrate the accomplishments of our fabulous students and staff. The best thing about this program and that it will be sent via e-mail, social media, school websites, and is available in print. We hope you enjoy this new communication format and look forward to strengthening our partnerships through improved communication.

Sincerely, Mr. Hogan

Help us prevent the spread of the Flu virus & other sickness

As you are aware, our community has been sit hard by the Flu bug. Schools and other areas of large gatherings are commonplace for the spreading of viruses. Unfortunately, we had to close for a few days so we could disinfect all school facilities. Please help us out by not sending your children to school if they are sick or experiencing symptoms of being sick. We will be very accommodating with absences and school work in this type of situation.
