Our Mission
Be responsible, be respectful, be safe and be your best both in the classroom and life.
Our Vision
Monroe Middle School is committed to creating an inclusive environment that collaboratively develops resilient achievers to become civic and global contributors in society.
Welcome future Mustangs!
On January 12, 2021, we are offering two virtual open house tours beginning at 5:30pm and a replay of the same topics at 6:15pm to bring you inside our doors in a virtual fashion. During our sessions, we will be giving live presentations covering a range of topics including: our demographics, recent academic achievement data, our mission and vision for the present and future, specialized programs for Monroe students, our outstanding community partnerships that provide additional supports, our response to Covid-19 and so much more. We have developed a virtual tour so you can have the opportunity to meet our 6th grade teachers and see our beautiful building.
At Monroe, we value staying ahead of the curve with the latest technological advancements, including having an Apple TV in every classroom, using interactive software that allows our staff to see what our students are doing in real time while working on assignments, and creating newsletters to be viewed monthly in every language by all our stakeholders. We have also equipped our students with the tools they need to help them be successful in our current dual educational model for both in-person and remote learning, including keyboards for their iPads, bookbags, water bottles, wireless mic headsets, and iPens. During our first semester this school year, our teachers have worked diligently with our students to raise our students’ Lexile reading level an average of 14 points. While many schools have struggled in this remote environment, we have continued to move the needle forward with our students thanks to the dedication and collective effort of all our stakeholders both inside and outside of the classroom.
We hope that you will consider Monroe as you prepare for the next phase of your educational journey, and as we continue to grow resilient achievers to become civic and global contributors in society.
Mr. Dillon – Principal.
