Black History Month Creativity Challenge

As we enter the month of February, we want to take a moment to celebrate and recognize the contributions and achievements of African Americans throughout history. In honor of Black History Month, Apple has created a creativity challenge that everyone can participate in!


Join us as we highlight prominent African Americans this February using @AppleEDU creativity apps! Each day students will have a new challenge. Click HERE to view a website created last year and get started. You can participate in this year's challenge on Twitter #BHMCreativityChallenge2023.

Media Spotlight: Southwest Elementary Global Academy

Southwest Elementary Global Academy is focused on combining academic standards with the iPad to boost student creativity. SWEGA has seen a major increase in using Apple Apps in the classroom. Mrs. Ralph devotes her flexible time in the afternoon to allow teachers to sign up for co-teaching. Teachers in all grade levels have participated in co-teaching sessions with Mrs. Ralph. The school is thrilled about the growing use of technology in the classroom and is eager to continue learning.
