Supplemental Levy - Please Vote - March 14
The Twin Falls School District is pursuing a renewal of the supplemental levy that helps support programs in our school. We encourage all community members to weigh in on this important community decision. Cell Phones at School
Please remind your child that cell phones are not allowed out at school.
If a phone is seen out of a students backpack, the teacher will take the phone and return it to the student at the end of the day.
If the behavior continues, the teacher will turn the phone into the office and the parents will have to pick it up.

Transfer Requests for 2023-24 School Year
If you would like to have your student considered to attend Morningside Elementary and you live outside the school zone boundaries, a transfer request must be completed and turned into the office yearly. The transfer request form can be found on the TFSD website or you can get one at the school. Please call the office at 208-733-6507 if you have any questions.
Valentine Parties - February 14
Valentine parties will take place on February 14. Teachers will be sending information through Class Dojo about times of parties. Contact your child's teacher if you are interested in supplying items for the party or if you would like to volunteer.
ALICE Drill - February 23
As part of our school safety plan, we have practiced barricading and evacuating the building. On February 23rd, we will announce where our security aide is located in the building and teachers will have to decide whether it is safest to barricade with their class or evacuate the building.
Teachers will talk to students prior to the drill so that students understand this is just a drill, just like we practice fire drills. We wanted parents to know in case you see several police cars. The police officers like to observe these drills and give us feedback.
Spring Pictures - February 28
Spring Individual/Class pictures are scheduled for Feb. 28. A flyer will be coming home shortly with more information.
