Fourth Grade AIM
This week in AIM
Today we spent the majority of our time focusing on our Electricity City project. We successfully put our research to the test by completing a circuit with aluminum foil, a battery and small light bulb. Once successful, each students took their own notes on what had worked/failed so they can refer back to it next time. Then we upped our game by building a working switch with 2 brads, a large paper clip, cardboard, a small section of Christmas lights, and extra wire. Again, it was challenging but they really enjoyed it and it definitely deepened their understanding of electricity. We spent some time working on our math wall and then with the few minutes left in the day we started looking for “inspiration” for our dream model homes.
