Principal's Message

Happy Sunday! So it begins, my favorite season of all. I hope you and your family enjoyed every minute of the break. Sometimes all we need is some good quality family time to recharge the soul. We have a busy three weeks left of school. We've got everything from Spelling Bee, swimming in third grade, music performance in fourth, Polar Express in pre-k, and winter classroom parties for all. Please be sure to keep an eye out for more information for each one of these in your child's grade level newsletters.

Reminders for Next Week

  • Lunch Visitors: We will resume lunch visitors this week and next week only for the month of December.
  • Rucker Rocks Assembly: Teachers have reached out to those parents who are invited to join us for the assembly on Friday. Pre-K-2nd starts at 8 am and 3rd-5th at 9 am.
  • Author Visit: Author Sandra Markle will be virtually visiting 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders on Tuesday. She is the author of over 200 nonfiction books. You might know her What If You Had... series or the Texas Bluebonnet book Follow Those Zebras!

I can't wait to see you tomorrow!

Be you and be happy,

Principal Balderas

Visitor Lunches- Cafeteria or Picnic Style

We will continue offer lunch inside the cafeteria on the stage and outside by the garden. There will still only be 6 spots for each lunch each day. Please only sign up for one lunch a month unless spots are still available. If you are eating in the cafeteria on the stage with your child, we ask that there are only 2 adults per child. You will check-in at the front office.

As a reminder, if you are eating outside, you will meet a staff member at the back door by the cafeteria with your child and badge. After lunch, your child will meet back up with his/her class at that same location.

If you choose to check your child out, you will need to go around to the front of the building to the front office to check him/her out.

Monday will continue to be reserved for lunch bunches with Ms. Balderas.
