The Raptor Report

Week of May 31, 2021

RHAM Middle School

Dear Parents/Guardians,

I hope everyone is doing well. June is finally here. This has been a very slow news week. Everyone here is getting ready for all the end of the year events. We have the virtual team award ceremonies coming up, 8th grade social (next Friday), and then promotion on the 18th. Next Friday will be the last Raptor Report for the year.

That’s all I have for now. Please see below for more news and notes. As always please let us know if you have any questions.

I hope everyone has a nice weekend.

Thank you.

Michael Seroussi

Notes From the Nurse

Attention 7th grade parents- This is a friendly reminder that every 7th grade student is required to have a physical during their 6th or 7th grade year. The physical must be dated between July 1, 2019 and June 30, 2021. Please submit your child's physical to the school nurse as soon as possible. Students can bring the paperwork to the nurse's office or you may email them to Rachel Schneeloch@rhamschools.org.

Should you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact the nurses office.

** Friendly reminder to please make sure to inform the school nurse if your student is presenting with any Covid-19 symptoms, has been tested for Covid-19 or has been exposed to Covid-19.**

Although CDC does not currently recommend conducting universal symptom screening at school, students should not attend school when they are sick. Home symptom screenings rely on students and their parents, guardians, or caregivers initially identifying when the student may have signs and symptoms of illness and to take action (such as staying home). Please use this tool every day to ensure that your child is healthy and ready for learning.

Close Contact/Potential Exposure

● Has your child had close contact (less than 6 feet for greater than 15 minutes) with someone diagnosed with COVID-19 in the past 14 days? If so, you should quarantine for 10 days since your last contact with that person.
