About Fire Ants in NC
Fire ants are an invasive species in NC. They originated in South America. They were accidentally brought into Alabama in the 1930's. It spread to 300 million acres of the Southern U.S. In NC there is 57 counties that are infested with fire ants. The fire ants have a multiple biter with venom and can cause a chance of allergies. They can damage electric boxes. Their mounds are very hazardous and can also are a hazard to farming equipment.

Ways To Get Rid of Fire Ants and Their Mounds
~Pour 3 gallons of boiling water on mound
~Drench the mound with treatments
