St. Anthony’s Scholars Walk-a-Thon
We are heading towards our goal. We have raised $3,439 in pledges and $750 in Sponsorships!
This year St. Anthony Catholic School will have a Walk-a-Thon at St. Anthony Catholic School instead of the Annual 5k run/walk around Lake Hollingsworth. The Walk-a-Thon will take place on Friday, October 30, 2020 at the school. Classes will have a scheduled Walk Time to head to the court or to the field to walk a designate path. Virtual students are invited to participate as well. They will be offline during their class’s Walk Time and can walk in or outside their house with family.
Help raise money for St. Anthony Catholic School playgrounds upgrades and classroom improvements including flexible seating by collecting pledges from friends and family to walk as many laps around the school or home as you can. Students can earn "laps" by walking (of course), jump roping, hula hooping, and more!
We will have sponsorship opportunities for this event as well. Our sponsors will be highlighted on the school website, Facebook page, in our weekly newsletter to families and in the church bulletin. Sponsorship signage will be posted on the school grounds. Finally, sponsors will be listed in the St. Anthony Catholic School Yearbook.
Prizes for the participants including NUT day passes, raffle drawings, top earning class and top three earners will be announced on Monday, November 9 after the final donation are collected on November 6.
