PREPARING FOR 2019-20 SCHOOL YEAR
Now is a great time to make appointments for physicals, eye and dental appointments, medication refills, and immunization updates.
Immunization updates are especially important for PK, K, 7th and 12th grade students.

Kindergarten Fall 2019 Paperwork
Will you have a Kindergarten student in the fall of 2019? What an exciting and busy time. Just a friendly reminder of all the paperwork required before school starts in the fall:
Immunization Record with required Kindergarten vaccines
Dental exam (within 1 year of start of school)
Vision exam (within 1 year of start of school)

Attention fall 7th GRADERS and fall SENIORS!!
There are immunization requirements for Fall 2019. There is no grace period so:
Up-to-date vaccine records must be turned in before the first day of school in the fall so your student can be in school!
7th grade: in addition to the Tdap requirement already in place for 7th graders, the NEW requirement is for 1 dose of Meningococcal vaccine on or after 10 years of age and grade 7 if born after September 15, 2004.
12th grade: Requirement is for TWO doses of Meningococcal vaccine for those entering 12th grade if born after September 15, 1999 OR 1 dose if received when the student is 16 years of age or older.

In order to register* your child(ren) for school this summer, your JMC username and password is necessary to begin the registration process. If you do not remember login information, please contact your child's school office A.S.A.P. (contact information below). School building offices are closed after next week, so NOW is the time to ask for login assistance.

Audition Requirements for Principal Singing or Speaking Role
32 bars of a Rodgers & Hammerstein Song NOT from Oklahoma. Must provide sheet music in correct key for accompanist. No recorded accompaniment or acapella.
One 30 second minimum 1min maximum monologue from a published play WITH A SOUTHERN DIALECT. No restrictions other than it has to be from a published play...no random monologue websites or film/tv/web etc...
Dance Call: EVERYONE is required to participate in dance call. There will be TWO sections.
1. Movers

You will select the appropriate section for your ability.
Audition Requirements for Ensemble
Learn first verse and chorus of song Oklahoma (I’ll send out music first of school year)
Recite Pledge of Allegiance in your best Southern Accent

Audition Requirements for Dream Ballet Company
Dancer Dance Call on Oct 21 and a signed off conflict sheet from your parent/guardian.
Requirements for Crew Members
Come meet Annie and Troy on Oct 21 or 22 during audition/callbacks and sign up for what areas you’re interested in. They will have a contact sheet for you to fill out and a calendar of dates for you. Also please provide any known conflicts at that time.

Habitat for Humanity of Marion County Accepting Applications
Habitat for Humanity of Marion County will be accepting applications for a home in Pella from May 25 – June 25. Late applications will not be accepted.
