How to avoid copyright.
Use the public domain or the creative commons. Give credit to the person who created what you are using by giving a link or their signature. Ask permission to use the photo or writing.
Consequences of copyright
You could get a fine of $200 to $250,000 for each work stolen.
The thief could go to jail for up to 5 years.
If you are caught again then you could face another $250,000 fine and 10 years in prison.
