A Message from Dr. Lowry

Hello Timberwolves,

It's been a long year with many challenges and hurdles, but it has also been an outstanding year with many achievements and successes. I am so proud of every student, teacher, and staff member at WoodCreek Junior High for persevering and making the 2020-2021 school year such a great one.

As we plan for next year, there will be a focus on fostering a sense of community and collaboration. There will be much work to be done as our students and teachers come back together after a year filled with KVA and asynchronous learning, and I know there is no community better able to do this than ours.

Best wishes to our 8th graders as they start their high school careers. Welcome to our incoming 6th graders - we're excited to have you join the Pack!

Have a fun and restful summer, and I look forward to seeing you in August.

Dr. Andrew Lowry

Dear Katy ISD Parents/Guardians and Staff,

As you are aware, Randall’s Pharmacy recently offered an optional opportunity for Katy ISD students 12 years of age and older to receive the COVID-19 vaccination. Due to high demand, Randall’s Pharmacy plans to make a second opportunity available on May 26

On Wednesday, May 26, Randall’s Pharmacy will offer an optional vaccination opportunity to Katy ISD students, 12 years of age and older, from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Agricultural Sciences Center (5801 Katy Hockley Cut-Off Rd). The vaccination will be available free of charge. A valid student ID, along with a completed parent consent form for individuals who are 17 years of age or younger, must be presented. To schedule a vaccination appointment for your child, and to access the parent consent form, please use the following link: https://mhealthsystem.com/KatyISD. The second vaccine dose for the May 26th vaccination opportunity will be administered on Thursday, June 17 in the same location.

If your child participated in Randall’s Pharmacy’s May 19th vaccination opportunity, the second shot in that series will be administered on June 9.

Katy ISD students are not required to take the COVID-19 vaccine in order to participate in District activities and/or programs.

Should you have any questions about the optional COVID-19 vaccination available for students 12 years old and above, please contact covid19responses@katyisd.org or (281) 396-7499.
