Weekly Update

Mayor's Fitness Council of San Antonio

Message from Full Council Chair

Greetings Mayor's Fitness Council Members -

I hope this update finds each of you doing well. I know these past few weeks have been a time of uncertainty in our community. I greatly appreciate the willingness of each of you to work with us to learn new ways to meet virtually and collaborate through technology.

In the upcoming weeks we will continue to monitor and follow the guidance of San Antonio Metro Health in regards to Mayor's Fitness Council meetings and events. Please check your e-mails for Zoom Meeting calendar invites to normally scheduled subcommittee meetings.

Also, make sure to follow the San Antonio Mayor's Fitness Council on both Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and Instagram. As we navigate these uncharted waters, I encourage you to find ways to stay active, to remember the importance of eating healthy, and to stay connected - even if through digital platforms!

Take Care,

Mandy

COVID-19 Hotline Behind the Scenes Sneak Peek

I am so proud of the San Antonio Metro Health response team, working on the COVID-19 Hotline being a voice of comfort and knowledge to a scared San Antonio community. It’s exhausting but inspiring to be able to practice our Public Health Emergency Preparedness Training. San Antonio, you have a strong and passionate City system protecting you.
