Madison County High School Library Newsletter
Our Mission Statement
The mission of the Madison County High School Library is to teach students to be effective users of information and to encourage and prepare students to be life-long learners. This mission is accomplished by:
• providing instruction in information literacy
• providing intellectual and physical access to informational materials in a variety of formats and media
• stimulating interest in reading and in finding and using information and ideas
•collaborating with faculty members on teaching the curriculum
• supporting the school's curriculum and reading initiatives.
We purchased a Silouette machine during the summer for students to use to be creative in our new Cut-It-Out Makerspace and to complete projects. I cannot wait to see what are students do with this amazing machine. If you would be willing to donate some items for students to work with please contact me.
Need Help after School or just need a computer.
If you need to stay after school to work, please stop by and sign up. I am happy to stay after school on Tuesday and Thursdays for help of if you need to use a computer.
