The Study of Our 50 States Continues!
Mrs. Juba's class has moved onto the Southeastern Region of the United States this week. We will have a test on this region on Friday. Students will come home with a study sheet filled in with the states, capitals, and abbreviations for the 12 states of the southeastern region.
Mrs. Sontag's class will have a test on the Northeastern and Southeastern regions tomorrow Tuesday, May 16, 2017. Study your maps. You will be tested on the location of the states and their capitals.
It's a Pool Party!
The Kimbles have offered to host the end of the year party. It will take place on June 1st from 10:00 am- 12:00 pm. Please RSVP to Mrs. Sontag by May 23rd at sontage@stgeorgesepiscopal.com.
Character Tee Shirt Day is Tomorrow!
Don't forget students can wear their blue character tee shirt tomorrow with uniform bottoms.
Rising 5th grade Meeting is this Thursday.
Parents, on Thursday from 12:00 pm- 1:30 pm. Romaine McCarthy and Tamara Claverie will host an informative meeting for parents of rising 5th graders. It will be held in the science lab, which is in the same building as the gym, but on the second floor (the lab tables are a dead giveaway).
This is a great time for you to ask questions about middle school and to really understand the expectations of your children as they transition to middle school next year.
St. George's night at the Cool Zoo
St. George's families have exclusive access to Audubon Zoo's Cool Zoo this Friday night from 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm.
Ice Chest Left at Field Day
Mrs. Juba brought home a green ice chest that was filled with water bottles on field day. If it belongs to you, please claim it!
