A Message from Principal Callaghan
Dear WHS Students and Families,
As another school year comes to a close, I would like to take this opportunity to wish you and yours all of the very best for the summer. May it be a safe, healthy, and especially fun one.
Like in many other aspects of life, the past year was filled with ups and downs, and twists and turns. It seemed like a roller coaster ride that wouldn’t end. At WHS, we had successes and some challenges, yet despite all, we continued the work that had to be done to meet the needs of our students. We are proud of what students and staff were able to accomplish. Your patience was critical to the successes we enjoyed this year. On behalf of the entire faculty, staff, and administration, we are grateful for your continued support.
We all look forward to next year being filled with experiences that are more predictable and that we are accustomed to.
Have a truly wonderful Summer. We look forward to seeing you in August. To those of you who are leaving us for new places, we wish you all the best!
Sincerely,
Mr. Brian Callaghan
WHS Principal

Notes from the Nurse
10th Grade Parents/Guardians,
Please take note of an important immunization requirement for upcoming 11th-grade school entry in August 2022:
All students who are 16 years old and entering 11th grade are required to receive a booster dose of the meningococcal conjugate vaccine (MenACWY).
- 1 dose is acceptable if it is given on or after the 16th birthday.
- Please submit physician documentation of this in order to update your child’s school health record. We recommend that you arrange this 11th-grade immunization requirement as soon as possible so that your child will be cleared for school entry in late August.
- If you are experiencing difficulty arranging this vaccine, please feel free to contact the high school nurses.
