Brent Chojnacki Named Next Head Football Coach
Brent Chojnacki, who led Hazelwood Central to the Class 6 State Quarterfinals in 2017, has been named the next head coach at Francis Howell, Activities Director Sean Erwin announced on Friday.
Chojnacki took over a Hazelwood Central program in 2017 that had made 15 state title appearances and won five State Championships in its storied history. Under his leadership the Hawks finished 10-2 and reached the state quarterfinals before falling to eventual State Champion CBC. Prior to becoming the head coach at Hazelwood Central he was an assistant for five seasons and offensive coordinator. As a player, he was a standout at Hazelwood Central and was named one of the “Top 30” recruits by the St. Louis Post-Dispatch in 2006. Chojnacki went on to star at Missouri State University.
You can join the Howell family on Tuesday, April 24th in the high school commons at 7:15pm for the introduction of Coach Chojnacki and the entire football coaching staff for the 2018 season. Those in attendance will have the opportunity to hear Coach Chojnacki speak as well as meet with him following the event. Viking fans are encouraged to attend this event to welcome Coach Chojnacki to the Howell family.
