Banta Family Newsletter, January 2021
Welcome Back!
We are so excited to welcome students back to the building! Students will be returning Monday, January 11th. We are making every effort to ensure a welcoming and safe environment for students. We also want to ease your mind in our care and concern for your student's safety. Please read carefully below to become aware of guidelines we will have in place for students and staff.
Picking up and Drop off Procedures
To help with traffic flow and avoid the heavy traffic flow and congestion on 6th street, we are asking parents to come down Walbrun from the north to pick up their students.
Please also note there is now a "right turn only" sign as you pull out of the parking lot to help ease the traffic on Walbrun street.
Please see below for more detailed instructions.

Parent/ Student Wellness Expectations
Each day parents will be asked to assess their child’s health before bringing them to school. Students with any of the following symptoms should not come to school:
- · Temperature above 100.4/chills
- · Vomiting or gastrointestinal issues
- · Chronic cough/shortness of breath
- · New loss of taste or smell
- · Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
Car Riders
ALL car riders will be dropped off and picked up in the back of the school (in the parking lot). Please ensure that your car has a tag with your student's name on it, as this is required to pick up your student. You will receive this on January 11th. All students must go through the carpool line. Please refrain from picking up your child on the street.
