May Day!
Wow! It doesn't seem possible but the end of the school year is here! Most of the testing is finished, summer plans are being made, and we are ready for summer fun! It will be a summer to enjoy, relax, and spend time doing things we have not had time for during the busy school year! We at Pelham City School encourage families to take time to engage in learning activities even while enjoying summer break and all the fun that comes with it!
Our local library, for instance, will be running an exciting summer reading program literally for all ages! You can get in the action no matter how old or young and all the while encouraging our school age children to read for fun this summer. The summer reading program will include, weekly activities, rewards, and special guests.
This year once summer is over and we are back to school, some special rewards will await students who have participated in the library summer reading program! For all those that sign up and participate in any way, during the summer program, there will be a Back to School Reading Party, when we return to school in the fall! For students that reach their summer reading goals, they will receive a free reading tee-shirt! Learn about the Summer Reading Programs at Carnegie Library in Pelham and Desoto Trail Library in Camilla, with the color sheets below!

We need your input!
Please complete this years Annual Stakeholder Feedback Survey linked to the title above! This survey is a required piece of our Title 1 Federal Programs funding and we want your feedback. As Pelham City School Charter System and "System of Choice" in our region, we always want to improve and strive for excellence for our students and parents. Parents drive the educational decisions that their students make as they guide them through grade school and beyond. The wisdom and suggestions of parents will always be apart of what we want to accomplish here at PCSCS, and one of the best ways to help steer the course of our decision makers in the system, is to take every opportunity to share your opinions and insights. Our continued federal funding is dependent upon parent input!
As an incentive all parents that complete the survey will be entered in to a drawing for some great prizes including a 4 ' porch swing made by PHS FFA!
We are extending the time to complete the survey until May 13th! Please get involved in this way!
Extension for Annual Stakeholder Feedback until May 13th!
Speaking of summer and fun, check out the Summer Community Activities going on in our area! From local church VBS to camps and reading fun....make sure to get your students involved!
