Jordan's Monthly Pathway News - September 2018

Start Spreading the News!

Welcome to the first issue of The Jordan Pathway Press!

This is a monthly newsletter created to highlight the awesome things happening in our Pathways.

Starting the year off right with Pathway Assemblies

On September 20-21, each Pathway held their Annual Fall Assembly! Teachers shared expectations for the year, while students participated in fun team building activities. What a way to kick off the year!

Sharing the J-Town Love

Jordan was invited to join Hamilton and Lindbergh Middle Schools for their Back to School Night events. Our Student Ambassadors did an extraordinary job talking to middle school families and inviting them to our Back to School Night. We were happy to be a part of such a welcoming environment at each site - sharing the J-Town love and Panther spirit!

Back to School Night is almost here!

Big picture

Single Subject Integration in the J-Town House!

Science Department Co-Heads, Kelly Rash and Tracy Williams, are already getting things started with SSI! A portion of their FIRST department meeting was dedicated to discussion about ways to implement industry into the Science classroom. Way to go Science Department!

Don't forget to check out High School Highlights

This month the High School Highlights, brought to you by Pete Davis and the High School Office, spotlights Single Subject Integration videos from Connect Ed. It is a great way to spend the first 15 minutes of class!

Show your Panther Pathway Pride!

If you would like to share what your Pathway is doing: a work based learning event, an industry related project, pics of your student at their internship - SHARE IT with the Jordan Pathway Press by emailing Wendy Ili Our students and teachers work so hard; let's start sharing the North Town Spirit!
