Writing Workshop for Parent-Teachers
FPCS has an exciting series of parent workshops to share with you: writing workshops that equip you to teach your child to write a strong paragraph! There are 5 videos in this series - the first two videos are lengthy, but definitely worth the time investment, with the final three videos taking less time to work through. The Workshop is designed to build as it progresses, following the order of videos starting with #1 and ending with #5 is highly recommended. (Step up to Writing documents referenced in the videos are downloadable PDF files below)
Paragraph Video #1: Paragraph Outline
Paragraph Video #2: Topic Sentences
Paragraph Video #3: Making Your Writing More Interesting With the 3 E's
Paragraph Video #4: Transitions
Paragraph Video #5: Conclusions
Reader's Theater Workshops
Anna Roys, FPCS Sponsor Teacher, will lead two Reader's Theater Workshops. Contact Anna (roys_anna@asdk12.org) for more information on Reader's Theater. If you would like to observe or participate, please contact your Sponsor Teacher.
