Detailed Newsletter of Resources
Each week I do a newsletter with resources that goes out to over nine thousand, yes 9,000 subscribers, mostly teachers and College of Ed Faculty.
Check them out here:
- or from my waklet: https://wke.lt/w/s/U5GBI
Dig deep, reading and explore links, watching the videos, look how I put it together.
You will be creating one of your own using the same tool I use and many schools use. SMORE. (https://www.smore.com). You will notice there is a education side, but we don't want to pay money and we don't have a need for all our students to have their own account just yet.
So we will be using the FREE side. However, there is a wonderful video by teachers explaining Smore and how they use as an educator, so please check it out....https://www.smore.com/educators.
The simplest designer on the market, and pretty too. Smore makes you look like a pro every time. Even if you have zero design experience.

To receive the 75 points (a very generous offer) you must turn in no later that Dec. 13. It must include all the requirements.
- At least 10 educational resouces/apps, website, etc with details explainations of what each is with LINKS and images. Whatever you think might be useful to another educator.
- 3 videos that could be useful with explanations/descriptions as well.
- Try as many features as possible
- Give your Newsletter a Name, mine is Think Different
- Make sure you include your name and link to your blog in the contact spot at the bottom, kind of like I did.
- You must find your own content for your newsletter, you may not just copy from mine
- Add your Smore Link to your Seesaw Blog, publish and submit for the 75 points. Will not be counted for excredit if not submitted by Dec. 13.
- In other words, assume your newletter is going to my 9,000 subscribers. Remember they have already seen my resources in my newsletter so you need to find your own resources.
- I will be pulling resources from your newsletter to include in mine next few, always giving credit to where the resource came from, that means giving you credit for finding. I am looking forward to finding lots of new resources to share.
