Adult and Community Education
"In The Know" 09/13/16
A Message from the Leadership Team
Adult Education
Over the next two weeks Bruce and Christine will be visiting all the sites and meeting with teachers before the start of class. The meetings will be the start of regularly scheduled collaborative time. This first meeting will focus on the simple, yet effective ways to maximize our class time by teaching “bell-to-bell”. Please be on the look-out for an email announcing the day.
Now is the time to become familiar with IPDAE. IPDAE provides a web-based site which allows adult educators access to various resources: electronic documents, toolkits, lessons, videos, workshops, webinars, virtual trainings, online training modules, newsletters and consistent communication outreach via an email contact database. Join IPDAE for an exciting upcoming WEBINAR journey through the IPDAE website, highlighting resources for the classroom.

Remember to arrive at least 15 minutes early to get your attendance sheets and to greet your students as they arrive to class. Someone will come around and pick up your attendance sheets once class has started. We look forward to another prosperous year for Community Education.
An email is forthcoming to ask you for your teaching schedule for Winter 1 and 2. We will be combining the class schedule books. Be sure to adhere to the deadlines.
