LEARNING AHEAD: NOVEMBER: 10-14
Science: We will end our unit on force and motion. At the beginning of the week students will get to choose between 2 assessments: build a car or build a ramp. This will be in small groups. We will then begin our unit on gravity.
Reading/Social Studies/Language Arts/Writing: We will be working on Citizenship. I have started a Kidblog where students will be writing to themselves. This will help them determine how to show their quality of being a good citizen.
We will continue to use our inferring skills, but begin dissecting poetry. Students will be using a variety of poetry to break down the meaning of the words.
Math: We continuing to round numbers by 10's and 100's and work on subtracting 3 digit numbers.
Listed below are science and math that will be using next week. It's optional for your child. I am placing many science and math links that we will be using.
