CPR and Industry Recongized Credentials
As per Amy Lena 12-16-22 Red Cross CPR programs for schools start with an "authorized provider" agreement that guarantees the school will adopt Red Cross training exclusively for its health and safety training needs. As part of this agreement, the Red Cross will train adult faculty members in CPR and first aid – and provide them with instruction on how to effectively teach students those same skills. Note: Red Cross CPR programs schools waive student learner fees, however instructor training fees still apply.
CPR Instruction: CPR school programs focus on a hands-only approach to CPR. This type of cardiopulmonary resuscitation is generally recommended for use on teens and adults who suddenly collapse. It's easy to learn, easy to teach, and can help your faculty and students save a life.CPR training certification is not provided through this course.
Do you have staff or students that need CPR Certification?
The Early Childhood CPR Training Grant has been extended two months and RIU6 has added 3 more Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED Sessions through end of February. Below are the dates that have been added for training. All sessions run 8am to 12:30pm.

Locally Administered Assessment Data and PVAAS Together
Why Participate? Your District’s/School’s Locally Administered Assessment Data and PVAAS Together
Audience: LEA/District Leaders, School Leaders
Mon Feb 13 @ 10:00-10:45am
Thurs Feb 16 @ 3:15-4:00pm
Your LEA/district/school may have local assessment data in a web-based system with a range of reporting. Your LEA/district/school may also have a data warehouse with many different screens and reports. If these data resources already exist, why would your LEA/district want to take the time to upload our locally administered assessment data into PIMS to receive PVAAS reporting based on our locally administered assessments? Answers to these questions will be the focus of this session. A Pennsylvania district administrator will describe how this information, along with their local assessment data and data warehouse, added to their range of their data sources to enhance their local decision-making.
