Millard Teachers Average More Than a Decade of Experience
The Board of Education received the personnel report last night. Millard's teachers have worked in the district for an average of 12.1 years and in education for an average of 15.4 total years. 1,307 Millard employees have a master's degree and 49 have doctorates.

Millard North High School Spanish Teacher Theresa Jensen has been named the Nebraska International Languages Association Teacher of the Year.
Millard South High School Science Teacher Christine Gustafson has been named President-Elect by the Nebraska Association of Teachers of Science.
Abbott Elementary Third Grade Teacher Melody Hardage has been named the first Star 104.5 "Teacher of the Week" for this school year.
