Developing a community of leaders for a better world.
IN THE KNOW...
- If you want a PTA t-shirt (the one designed by a student last year) make sure you get an order turned in (there are no order forms - so just a paper with name & size) by Monday with a check or cash for $15.
- The LEEF Mudstacle is coming up - mark your calendar, register and help support the LEEF foundation - while you have some good dirty fun ;) Saturday Oct 8th.
- PLEASE, PLEASE remember to double check and make sure you have a PREFERRED SUB LIST in the system - we have already had a number of jobs not picked up! If you don't have a preferred list, it doesn't make calls :(
- If you have kids in tutoring after school or are the sponsor of an enrichment club, please send Chessire a list of students and dates of the tutoring so she can make sure they get marked off transportation list AND please remember that you need to stay with the kids until they are all picked up.
LEADER IN ME...
I wonder what would happen if we dedicated the last 2-5 minutes of the day to students reflecting on one of their "I can" learning targets from the day - did they learn it, how do they know, can they apply it to real world...

This faculty truly does work hard to keep student learning at the heart of everything we do - and that puts us on the right path to growing, learning together, and improving student learning!
