Spanish Dual Language Immersion Program Registration For Incoming Kindergarteners 2018-2019 school year:
DLI Incoming Kindergarten Siblings: March 1-16
Waterford Incoming Kindergarten student: registration starts March 19
Open to GCS District Families: Starting April 19th
Out-of-District Families: May 1st
Please pick up a registration packet in the Waterford Main Office, you will then complete the packet, and return it on the dates above to Goshen Community Schools Administration Office, located at 613 E. Purl Street, Goshen.
Limited Enrollment available.

ISTEP AND IREAD TESTING

Dress your student in comfortable/loose fitting clothing.

Limit the number of sodas they drink.

Encourage your student to play outside after school, if weather permits, for at least 30 minutes. (The physical exercise helps relieve stress.)

Reschedule any appointments for that week.

Make sure they get a good nights sleep.
- Make sure they get a healthy breakfast every morning. Waterford provides free breakfast daily.
- Provide positive encouragement. Avoid stress.

Waterford Related Arts Night! Tuesday, March 6th
This event is FREE and open to all! A cookies and lemonade reception will take place during this event.
There will be a piece of artwork from every Waterford student displayed throughout the building, as well as 3rd and 4th grade concerts.
· 3rd Grade Concert: 6:00 pm (All 3rd grade students must attend; please arrive at 5:40 and go directly to your classroom)
· 4th Grade Concert: 7:00 pm (All 4th grade students must attend; please arrive at 6:40 and go directly to your classroom)

Who: Students living in the GCS district who are 5 years of age on or before August 1, 2018
Items to bring: Birth certificate, proof of residency, and immunization records (if available)

BOOKKEEPING INFORMATION
Textbook rental payments are OVERDUE. If you have not paid your child’s payment yet please turn in it in to the office, mail it, or you may still have a short amount of time to fill out the Free and Reduced Price Meal Application which also offers FREE Textbook rental if you qualify. Parents can stop by the office, call the school to ask for the form to be sent home with their child, or apply online. You, your children, or other household members do not have to be U.S. citizens to apply.
