Why is 3D modelling used?
The 3D model designing of a bridge
bridges and suspension bridges.
3D modelling is used for designing many things such as: cartoon characters, big buildings(such as stadiums and phone towers), cars and rooms. It is easier to design these on 3D modelling software because it's easy to edit and detect faults. When designing a bridge it's a good idea to think about: the length and width of the bridge; a footpath; amount of resources needed and when planning a suspension bridge you need to make it weather resistant(especially if its in a rainy or wind area). The bridge needs to be strong. If there's anything you want to edit or change on the plan you can do it easily and quickly on this software which is better than having to draw the whole plan again or building it and finding problems half way through- which would be wasting lots of money!
