A Message from the Principal
Happy Tuesday, Wildcat Families!
We have had a great month of reading at Weiss Elementary School. With 4 days left until Spring Break, our students have read THOUSANDS of books for March is Reading Month! Our PTO will tally the results of our contest by Friday and the winning class will win a SLIME party. Thank you to all our families that have been reading extra with your children at home. The act of reading with family is a huge indicator of school success!
Continually Grateful,
Mr. Bezeau

We had guest readers for March is reading month today. Thank you Woodhaven Police Department, Woodhaven Fire Department and City of Woodhaven - Government for coming and reading to us.
We had a great time at our Camp Wanna Read family night! Thank you to our PTO for organizing this, especially Mary Kinsey and Kelly Hughes who chaired the event. We also want to say thank you to our Intervention team(Mrs. Fleming, Mrs. Brozek, and Mrs. Buscemi) for putting together so many valuable reading activities for families to take home with them.
