Beowulf comes to aide
The land of the Danes has been under attack by the monster known as Grendel. King Hrothgar and his men have tried to subdue Grendel, but to no avail. This resulted in twelve years of despair for the land of the Danes. Many hoped that someone would rescue them from the grips of Grendel.
Beowulf of Geatland is known as a great hero. Upon hearing of Hrothgar's struggle, he feels motivated to assist in taking down Grendel. Beowulf assembles a small group of men and journeys through the seas to Hrothgar's kingdom to provide assistance in combating Grendal.
Down goes Grendel
Beowulf, hero of Geatland, has come to rescue the Danes from Grendel, the monster that's been haunting the kingdom for over a decade. Grendel entered the hall at night, hoping to prey on Danes as usual, but he was met by Beowulf. Beowulf grabbed Grendel with immense strength and is subdued by Beowulf. Grendel is dealt a mortal blow to the shoulder by Beowulf, ending the threat to the Danes.....for now.
Grendel: My Son
Oh son, how dare they kill you. I hurt at just the thought of you no longer being in this world. You were such a great son to me and I couldn't have been more proud of you. Those who killed you, especially that Beowulf, will soon pay for their actions. Just you wait, son, just you wait....
