Lincoln in Tredegar Iron works
Commemorating their only visit to the city in April 1865
This is commemorating the only visit Lincoln Made to Richmond after the Civil war. In this Monument, Abraham Lincoln Is sitting on a Bench with his son Tad.
The Lincoln Memorial is copper and is approximately 5 feet tall. The words behind him say to bind the nations wounds which represented his opinion during the civil war. The artist was Davis, Reev;
The artist was David Frech.; and It was dedicated to him on 1922 in Tredegar Iron Works
The importance of this statue is not quite significant however it is worth seeing and represents Lincolns visit to Tredegar
