Lockport City School District

2021 Capital Improvements Project

Last evening, January 6, 2021, the Lockport City School District Board of Education heard a report from Facilities Committee Chairman Edward Sandell that the committee is developing a proposal with Young & Wright Architectural for a capital improvements project referendum to be presented to district residents in May 2021. While the detailed components of this referendum are still being finalized the broad scope of the project includes the construction of two turf softball fields, upgrades to enhance district-wide cell phone coverage in specific "dead zone" areas, and upgrades to many of the district buildings based on the recently completed 2020 Building Condition Survey. If you have an area of concern or an idea that should be considered for the LCSD 2021 Capital Improvements Project please email dcoder@lockportschools.net by Wednesday, January 13, 2021.
