What I'm Reading.... (The •5)
I hope you are all reading a great book during WIN. I am going to up my collection of John Hattie's work, so if you are looking for a new book to borrow next week, I'm your girl!
"One of the best ways in which to maximize learning is to use the notion of "backwards design". Knowing our intentions and what success of a lesson should look like before we start to plan is the essence of such backward thinking. Such knowing allows us to improvise and change..."
Visible Learning for Teachers, John Hattie
SSU travels to Miami today to play the Miami Hurricanes...for 2.1 million dollars. Coach Anderson is the proud owner of my sideline passes and hopes to meet Coach Richt! I found this story to be my hilarious "before" laugh of the game...

Your school is being talked out right now. Need proof? I’ve been waiting for my daughter at gymnastics and the conversations to my left and to my right are parents talking about their kiddos schools. How do you want those conversations to sound? #Culturize #LeadLAP
This is SO true...which is why we MUST CRAZY and intentional about using Twitter and Facebook to tell our story!!!
